I am making up the Thomas the Tank Engine toy but can’t see the templates for the sponge cab formers on the pattern sheet. Am I missing something or misunderstanding the instructions? I would appreciate any help.

I can’t picture how these formers fit to guess the shape. Do they run front to back, or across the cab?

Tempted to skip the sponge completely and just stuff the whole thing…

Hi, has anyone made this Thomas toy, I’m just about to embark on it but the making up part seems difficult without drawings. Any tips would be appreciated. Thank you

Hi, so…. I am sewing all the pieces together but I am stumped by the instructions regarding sewing the front cab & inner tank sides to the cab & tank sides, also how to sew the left and right gussets to the cab front 🤔😞 are you able to give a more precise step by step to this particular section please.

    Hi
I’m struggling with this construction part too.
Did you complete the toy ?
I would really appreciate any help you can give in the shape of the sponge formers.Do they fit the sides of the cab or the front and back of the cab?
This is the most frustrating pattern I have ever used but I don’t want to give up because it’s for my 3 year old grandson.
    Thanks in anticipation.
