How do I make this pattern bigger? I would like to make this blanket more the size of 80cm x 100cm. I can follow a pattern, but altering or changing it would be nearly impossible for me. Thank you!

I think you could extend the pattern in the middle.

If you used a larger weight yarn with bigger needles you would create a bigger blanket without altering the pattern.

It is a “picture” of the pattern, so I printed it and then re-typed it. So much easier to read. Good luck!

HELP!!! First Row 8: Inc in each of first 4 sts, *rib 1, inc in each of next 2 sts, rep from * to last 2 sts, inc in each of last 2 sts. 222 sts.

Question 1: What does rib1 mean??? Patons did not respond to my question, but I think it means to knit the same stitch as the one below it??? That was the only way I got from the CO 132 sts to the required 222 sts.

    Question 2: Under Begin Patt:
Bobble — I worked 4 sts into one st and then finished the bobble. Is that correct or should I have made 3 or 4 rows for the bobble and then finished it with the second st over 1st st, etc.

    Question 3: Finishing the Blanket:
Rows 1 to 8 incl form patt. Cont in patt until work measures approx. 29 inches ending with a 5th row
NEXT ROW: WS – (Patt 2tog) 4 times, * patt 1, (patt 2tog) twice, rep from * to last 4 sts, (patt 2tog) twice. 132 sts.
Change to size 8 needles, work 8 rows rib (as before) Cast off loosely in rib.
What does Patt 2 tog mean – K2tog?
And what does *patt 1, (patt 2tog) mean?

I am apologizing in advance for being so dense, but maybe it is “knitting language” thing?

    THANKS!!!

Quelqu’un a traduit ce patron, car je ne comprends pas tout en anglais?
